Nathalie Kalbach was born in Germany and lived most of her adult life in Hamburg before moving to the United States in September 2013. She worked as a paralegal for seventeen years and might have remained in the wrong profession had she not discovered mixed media painting in 2004.

She teaches at many retail events and art retreats, as well as at trade shows and since early 2015 has taught mixed-media workhops at Pratt Institute for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She is the founder and sole organizer of the annual Creative JumpStart Summit (CJS) now in its 5th year.

Nathalie’s artwork is licensed through StencilGirl Products (stencils) and Stampendous (rubber stamp, foam stamp and template sets) and as a prior ambassador for Liquitex, her work has been featured on the packaging for Liquitex acrylic paint sets.

Rachel Greig is a photographer, rubber stamp artist and proud owner and designer of Darkroom Door rubber stamps. Rachel has completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree at University, is a Ranger Certified Educator, and has been involved in the creative arts field for over 20 years.

Rachel was awarded the ‘Master of Scrapbooking’ by Scrapbooking Memories magazine in 2001 and became Photography Editor of My Reflections magazine and Scrapbooking Memories magazine for several years. Her photography articles and craft projects continue to be published in many books and magazines, including Somerset Studio, The Stampers Sampler, Take Ten, and Craft Stamper to name a few. She has appeared on QVC UK TV and makes regular appearances on Scrap It TV.

In 2007, Rachel and her husband Stewart started a rubber stamp company called Darkroom Door. From humble beginnings in Rachel’s photography studio, Darkroom Door moved it’s headquarters in 2009 to a larger studio and warehouse where they design, manufacture and distribute Darkroom Door products within Australia and now export to more than 18 countries worldwide.

Rachel loves combining rubber stamps and photography in her projects, using lots of ink, paint, and stamping techniques. She enjoys sharing her ideas and encouraging her students to unlock the artist within! Her work has won many photographic and papercraft awards and has been featured in several art exhibitions.

Rachel resides on the Central Coast in Australia with her husband Stewart, and children Ethan and Zoë. Rachel enjoys teaching photography, mixed media and stamping workshops throughout the world.
