I’m delighted to bring you another episode of the Adventures in Arting Podcast! Our guest today is Jessica Sporn:
Jessica Sporn, former actress, lawyer and activist – now artist and mother, has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember.
She is an accomplished, self-taught, mixed media artist whose style is colorful and ranges from whimsical to spiritual with a strong Folk Art influence. She hosts a successful Meet-Up group with monthly classes in her Montclair studio, and also teaches at The Ink Pad in New York City, and Art-Is-You Mixed Media Retreats, as well as in online classes.
Her designs may be found worldwide on greeting cards, fabrics, and tabletop ceramics.
Jessica is proud to design stencils for Stencil Girl Products, stamps for Rubbermoon, and Judaica products for Aviv Judaica.
Jessica keeps an active Facebook page, regularly blogs, and is represented for licensing by Creative Connection, Inc.
On the podcast we discuss menorahs, the theatre, yoga, Jessica’s career evolution, teaching, learning, improvisation, creating for a result vs. creating for the process and so much more! It’s a very thoughtful and philosophical show! I’d really like to share some listener mail on the next podcast, so I hope you’ll leave a comment on today’s podcast!
